Posted May 19, 2010

GENEVA, May 19 (Bernama) — The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has decided to launch a panel to settle a dispute between South Korea and the United States over the U.S. method of determining anti-dumping duties on some steel products, the South Korean representative here said.

In November last year, the Seoul government filed a petition with the World Trade Organization (WTO) to set up the dispute settlement panel at the request of POSCO, South Korea’s top steel maker, and local cutting tool manufacturers.
